Happy Thanksgiving Happy Thanksgiving from the gang here at Wild Idaho Outfitters. With the storm moving across the west this day we do hope you find yourselves snuggled up next to a warm fire, hot cup of coffee or cocoa nearby, and are able to take a few quiet moments to reflect on all the blessings we individually and collectively share as Americans. I for one am grateful for this country. As we read about refugees trying to escape their country November 25, 2015By George McQuiston Announcements, General Information 0 0 Comment Read More »

April 1 is the “official” opener for many of the backcountry units, but in normal years the bears are still comfortably snuggled in their winter beds under feet of snow. HAPPY NEW YEAR What a terrific sight for the final day of 2014. As sun sets over the Pahsimeroi Mountains, part of the Lost River Range here in Central Idaho, 2014 only has a few hours left and the horses are enjoying the last rays of sunlight on a day that the high only reached to zero. It is a beautiful ending to an amazing year here at Wild Idaho Outfitters and we are very grateful for this past year and are already looking forward to some exciting new adventures to take place in 2015.
