It is amazing to me that one man, the honorable Judge Molloy, is possibly the smartest man on the planet. he obviously knows more than the entire USFWS, Interior secretaries of 2 administrations as well as 3 state widlife agencies. Wow! His parents must be proud! It shows how stupid I must be as I don't understand how one man wields more power than all the above mentioned agencies. It also goes to show what happens when you negotiate with terrorists.a.k.a enviromentalists. Related Posts Don’t be a fool this April 1. Get out and hunt Idaho spring bears and apply for a trophy species. April 1 is the beginning of a lot of cool things here in Idaho. It is the official beginning day of the backcountry spring bear seasons and it is the day to begin the application process for Idaho trophy species. No, it was the official opener of “Trophy Species” application season. You know, the season that comes every year. Idaho Spring Bear Season “Officially” Opens in Backcountry Units It is almost time for my second favorite time of year…spring bear season! It “officially” opens in many back country units like where we guide in the Middlefork zone on April 1st. I say officially as that is when it does open, but with this years late and heavy snowfalls, I am confident the bears will not be waking from their winter slumber for at least a few more weeks, at least at our elevations. Idaho Trophy Species Applications are Being Accepted If you have ever wanted to hunt bighorn sheep, moose or mountain goat in the great state of Idaho, April is the time to apply for those hunts. Remember Idaho does not have a points system, so everyone is on equal footing when they apply for these coveted tags.
