Combo Hunts: Hunting in some of Idaho’s remote backcountry wilderness areas is possibly one of the last places left in the country where you can still hunt multiple species at the same time. We call this a combo hunt, being able to hunt elk, deer, bear and predators all at the same time gives you more bang for your buck.
Elk Hunts: Nothing says western big game hunting like a Rocky Mountain elk hunt and nothing could be more rewarding than savoring the pungent odor of elk in the high country…in my opinion of course.
Deer Hunts: Mule deer hunting in Idaho’s backcountry units is a very exciting hunt. It will test your patience and resolve as you will probably get the chance to look over several deer and decide what your idea of a “trophy muley” is. Mule deer hunting is unlike any other type of western big game hunting I am aware of.

Youth Hunts: Idaho fish and game has, in my opinion, one of the west’s most positive and progressive approaches to hunter recruitment I have ever seen. Most western states like Utah where I am from and also guide, offer youth tag opportunities in the form of draw tags or “youth only” hunts with limited spots available.

- Success Rate: When talking to prospective hunters that are considering booking with us or any other outfitter for that matter, we are always asked, “What is your success rate?” It is a very valid and quite frankly necessary question.
